“News War” series on Frontline on KQED

It looks like Frontline will be running a series on the “News War” on KQED (Channel 9) on Tuesday nights.  It runs February 13th, 20th, 27th and March 27th. 

The topics sound like they should be of interest to SRVDC people.  It includes political, cultural and economic forces facing the news media, impact of corporate ownership, emergence of new outlets, and international forces on the media and journalism.

Hi Mary,

I’m an associate producer on the third hour of this series, which is being produced out of Frontline’s Berkeley office. Just wanted to give you the head’s up that the series is on as planned, starting next month.
