Gordon Kimber, who has served as Webmaster for the Club’s website since its inception, has announced that he will be retiring from this service at the end of November. The club has been fortunate to find a new webmaster, Jake Litke, and we are pleased to introduce the new site. The site is currently available at www.srvdc.net
Some of the great new features include:
- Allows members to write and post comments about the site and its contents
- Ability to include our own blog. A “blog†(from “web logâ€) allows members to post their own thoughts and comments (including links to other sites), and to have an active on-line back-and-forth conversation with other members.
- Greater ease of updating the site and keeping it current and fresh
Please check out the new site and leave your feedback in the comment box below. It will take a short amount of time for you comments to show up on the site, the first time that you make a comment, after that they will show up immediately.
We plan to switch the new site back to its old url (www.srvdc.org) in the near future. We are still working out a few kinks, and we welcome and NEED your feedback to make this site work for the club as a whole. Let us know what you think!
